Erie Metals Inc. was formed in October 1990 by Mike Reese and Jim Straka. Opening on January 2, 1991, with the intent of being a steel distributor concentrating on small quantities. Fortunately, the orders received were larger quantities and it continued to grow. We now supply many of the screw machine companies and C N C machine shops in the northeast Ohio area. Our nitch business is supplying machining steels to companies in the surrounding area of Lorain, Lake, Cuyahoga, Medina, and Summit Counties.
